Mr. Grosskopf assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of Sprott in September 2010. Mr. Grosskopf has over 24 years of experience in the financial services industry and an extensive background as an advisor and underwriter to companies in a wide variety of sectors. In addition to his role at Sprott, he also serves as Chief Executive Officer of Sprott Resource Lending Corp. and President of Sprott Consulting. Prior to joining Sprott, he was President of Cormark Securities Inc. Over the course of his career, Mr. Grosskopf has established a track record of successfully building and growing businesses. Prior to joining Cormark, Mr. Grosskopf was one of the co-founders of Newcrest Capital Inc., which was acquired by the TD Bank Financial Group in 2000. Mr. Grosskopf holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario.
Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Secretary
Mr. Rostowsky joined the Company in March 2008 as the Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice-President, Finance & Administration at the IDA. As a member of the IDA's senior management team, Mr. Rostowsky had responsibility for non-regulatory functional areas including Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology and the Association Secretary. Prior to joining the IDA in January 2005, Mr. Rostowsky was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Guardian Group of Funds (''GGOF'') since July 2001 when GGOF was acquired by Bank of Montreal. At that time he was Vice-President, Finance for Guardian Capital Group, GGOF's former parent company. Mr. Rostowsky is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst, and holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Finance) and a post-graduate accounting degree, both from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

Mr. Wilson joined Sprott Asset Management LP in January 2012 with over 25 years of investment and business experience. Previously, he was Chief Investment Officer at Cumberland Private Wealth Management. Prior to that, John founded DDX Capital Partners, an alternative investment management firm; was Managing Director at RBC Capital Markets; and previously, a Director at UBS Canada.John earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University, and is an MBA graduate of The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
President, Sprott Asset Management
Mr. Fox was appointed President of Sprott Asset Management in November 2009. Prior to that, Mr. Fox served as Senior Vice-President of Sales & Marketing, a role in which he initiated the development of new products, formed a wholesale group to increase fund distribution and led marketing efforts to increase the company’s brand awareness in Canada and abroad. During his tenure, he has been a key contributor to the company’s sales effort and strategic business initiatives. Mr. Fox joined Sprott in June 1999 after completing his Masters of Business Administration at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
Chief Operating Officer, Sprott Asset Management
Mr. John Ciampaglia joined Sprott in April 2010 as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Ciampaglia has 18 years of experience in the investment industry. Previously, he was a Senior Executive at Invesco Trimark; Mr. Ciampaglia was an active member of the firm’s Executive Committee and held the position of Senior Vice President, Product Development. Mr. Ciampaglia was responsible for overseeing the product development function across multiple product lines and distribution channels. He also played a key role in initiating and leading the implementation of various strategic initiatives for the firm. Prior to joining Invesco Trimark, Mr. Ciampaglia spent more than four years at TD Asset Management, where he held progressively senior product management and research roles. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from York University, holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.
Chief Compliance Officer, Sprott Asset Management
Ms. McTaggart joined Sprott (and its predecessor Sprott Asset Management Inc.) in April 2003 as a compliance officer and subsequently became the Chief Compliance Officer in April 2007. Ms. McTaggart currently also serves as the Corporate Secretary of the general partner of Sprott Asset Management LP, Sprott Private Wealth LP and Sprott Private Wealth GP Inc. Ms. McTaggart has accumulated over 22 years of experience in the financial and investment industry. Prior to April 2003, Ms. McTaggart spent five years as a Senior Manager at Trimark Investment Management Inc., where her focus was the development of formal compliance and internal control policies and procedures.
Arthur Einav is General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Sprott Inc., Sprott Resource Corp. and Sprott Consulting LP. He also serves on the Board of Directors of one of Sprott Resource Corp.’s portfolio companies, Independence Contract Drilling, Inc. Prior to joining the Sprott group of companies, Mr. Einav was an associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, one of the world’s premier law firms. Mr. Einav has worked on public and private debt and equity offerings, exchange offers, mergers and acquisitions and debt restructurings in a variety of industries. He also regularly advised corporate clients with respect to general corporate matters, including corporate governance, securities laws and Sarbanes-Oxley matters. Previously Mr. Einav was an associate at McCarthy Tétrault LLP. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Masters in Business Administration from Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the New York State Bar.
